Chatterkick Internship: What You Need To Know

Accepting an internship is a scary thing, especially when you do not know what to expect. I wanted to give you insight on what having an internship through Chatterkick has been like for me, and share a little bit of what I have learned both about myself and the company.
Transparent Communication
Right from the get-go, it was clear and laid out who and what Chatterkick is and what was expected of me. I love how transparent they were with everything, not feeling the need to sugar coat anything. They tell it how it is while simultaneously making me feel completely comfortable asking any and all questions.
Persistent Thinkers
Forward-thinking, what is next, and how we can improve are questions they are constantly asking themselves. I love the desire in Chatterkick to not ever be comfortable or satisfied with where they are. They celebrate their victories, but continue to move on to what’s next, which in my opinion is just one of the many reasons they are so successful.
In the Know
They are fast-paced, which they need to be in the social media world. Whether it is keeping up with the latest trends, learning new software, being aware of the next meeting call to be on or finding new tips & tricks on different platforms, staying up to date on this is critical!
Treat Yo Self
It’s not all work and no play, Chatterkick knows how to have fun. Whether it is through chat games, scavenger hunts at the office, or even spending an evening at Trivia night; they continuously find ways to make work and time with team members fun! It is also SUMMERTIME, which means they implemented their summer hours to allow the team to enjoy a few extra hours on their summer weekends!
Genuine Family
When I say a genuine family, I mean just that. Right as I entered the Chatterkick family, there was a feeling of being welcomed with open arms. Never once have I felt unincluded, out of place, or unwelcomed amongst my team members. They value their families by blood and families by work. They understand that you gotta do what you gotta do to make sure your families are taken care of. The sense of togetherness continues outside of the workplace or work hours.
This is just the tip of the iceberg, as it is just the early stages of my internship. I look forward in continuing to learn and grow, and I am so grateful to get this with Chatterkick right by my side, cheering me on.
