Now, as 2016 draws to a close, we've been left without direction, without purpose, without a WORD. The time has come for all of us to set a personal goal for 2017 and sum it up in a single word. ![Ali Dab.jpg](https://blog.chatterkick.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Ali%20Dab.jpg?width=224&name=Ali%20Dab.jpg "Ali Dab.jpg")**Ali - Dab** Live a life that's dab-worthy. **Tiffany - Home** My ultimate/largest goal of 2017 is to purchase a home. I have been toying around with the idea but I would like to make it official in 2017. Time to invest, Am I right!?! **Mike - Listen** Listen and learn from others so I can pass along more knowledge of value. **Shannon - Learning![image.png](https://blog.chatterkick.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image.png?width=231&name=image.png)** I'm starting a course in WordPress development and learning how to code in php. **Kelsey - Leadership** Next year I'm trying to work on being a better leader. **Margaret - Perservere![Image-1.png](https://blog.chatterkick.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Image-1.png?width=201&name=Image-1.png)** I've got one semester of college left and a lot to do between now and graduation in May! My goal is to continue to persevere through this time while meeting and exceeding each task I face!  **Adam - Focus** I'd like to clarify my vision for the future and stick to the plan.  **![15822296\_10154833095202317\_2036965324\_n.jpg](https://blog.chatterkick.com/hs-fs/hubfs/15822296_10154833095202317_2036965324_n.jpg?width=255&name=15822296_10154833095202317_2036965324_n.jpg)** **Lauren - Minimalism** Surround myself with only the important stuff. **Erik - #Blessed** To be more mindful of my many blessings.  **Tina - Finish** Whether I started it in 2016 or 2017, it needs to be finished to the best of my ability. **![58-1.jpeg](https://blog.chatterkick.com/hs-fs/hubfs/58-1.jpeg?width=228&name=58-1.jpeg)Taylor - Deciding** My one word is "deciding" because 2016 was the year of realizing things and 2017 will be the year of deciding things. Maybe 2018 will be the year of acting on things. I'm not sure yet, but something tells me I'll decide soon. **Julie - Contentment** I would like to slow down and appreciate things instead of constantly feeling like I should be doing SOMETHING. **![bitmoji1352561065.png](https://blog.chatterkick.com/hs-fs/hubfs/bitmoji1352561065.png?width=229&name=bitmoji1352561065.png)Diana - Vogue** I want to make my life a little more picture-esque. **Liz - Ambidextrous** Pretty self-explanatory but I'd like to get better at doing things with my left hand!  **![👐](https://mail.google.com/mail/e/1f450)** **Molly - Maturity** I want to adult so hard. My goals for 2017 include decorating my apartment, getting a dog, and consistently doing the laundry before I run out of clean clothes. **![zenbit-1.png](https://blog.chatterkick.com/hs-fs/hubfs/zenbit-1.png?width=106&name=zenbit-1.png "zenbit-1.png")Allison - Zen** I'm going to try to always put things in perspective, and not sweat the small stuff.  **Luis - Venturesome** Taking the initiative to step outside my comfort zone and driving things to completion. **Beth - Mindful** My days are going too fast and I feel like my kids are growing up without me noticing. I want to stop and appreciate the little things. ### [Chatterkick Team](https://blog.chatterkick.com/author/chatterkick-team) The Chatterkick team is made up of envelope-pushers, big thinkers, brainstormers, and conversation starters.
