After a year, the growing pains are subsiding and Chatterkick has found its footing in Baton Rouge! We just welcomed another new team member, bringing the BR office up to six. (Hey, Hannah!) We’re hoping to be seven soon, wherever you are, social media prodigies.
We have found some great business partners in the area and are meeting more people every day! We know just about every local lunch spot within a one-hour round trip of our office and we are steadily increasing our Community Coffee intake to staggering heights. Chatterkick Baton Rouge FAQ’s
Still being relatively new in town, we get asked a lot of the same questions that we’d like to go ahead and answer. So -
Question 1: Why Baton Rouge?
Chatterkick Answer: The team is here because Baton Rouge is home to us. We’ve grown up, gone to college, followed careers, and fallen in love in or around Baton Rouge. Having Chatterkick around is just a bonus.
Chatterkick came to Baton Rouge because we partnered with an upstanding, long-time Baton Rouge resident company, The Powell Group, and we were ready to grow so we opened up location number two.
Question 2: Why the name “Chatterkick”?
Chatterkick Answer: Short answer: because we're kicking up chatter about our partners' businesses. Long answer: the name stems from the concept that many businesses need a boost in their promotion and online marketing efforts. Often times, they can get that boost by listening online to the chatter (hence that part of our name) that is created around topics they associate with i.e. industry news, events and social sites.
Plus, the domain was open (kidding 😜 ).
Question 3: What sets Chatterkick apart from other agencies?
Chatterkick Answer: Our founder and CEO saw how social media was being treated by traditional ad agencies and wanted to put social media front and center. Instead of the, “Do you want fries with that?” approach to social media, Chatterkick was going to be the chef that turned the "fries" into your new favorite entree.
Fast forward to today, we are extremely well-versed in social media, all of the ad platforms, and we continue to utilize and adapt to all of the new capabilities of social media as quickly as they’re launched. Think of us as one part Zuckerberg, two parts ninja, and one part 1950’s grocery store owner. We are serious social media experts that have a soft spot for personal relationships.
